My Journey & Education with Aromatherapy

After the birth of my daughter in 2012, I was interested in finding more natural ways to help my family, and also to take a course for myself while getting out of the house.

I started the year long Aromatherapy certification through Langara College, and after completing 2/3 of it I became pregnant with my son. Since you cannot be exposed to most essential oils while pregnant, I was not allowed to finish the program at that time.
I continued to use Essential Oils, and have found many great uses for them over the last 5 years.

In 2016 I decided to complete my certification so I could use Essential Oils with my clients. I finished the program through the West Coast Institute of Aromatherapy in 2017 and am now designated a Clinical Aromatherapist.

I am also now a Registered Aromatherapist (RA) and Essential Oil Therapist (EOT) through the BC Alliance of Aromatherapy.
